2026 COUNCIL REMUNERATION & REIMBURSEMENT RATES

In accordance with Section 34 the Towns and Local Service Districts Act, the Aquaforte Town Council has adopted the following Remuneration and Reimbursement Rates.

COUNCIL REMUNERATION
In accordance with Section 4(a) of the Council Remuneration and Reimbursement Regulations under the Towns and Local Service Districts Act, The Town of Aquaforte sets Council Remuneration rate of 

5% of Total Fixed Revenue per year.

REIMBURSEMENT RATES
In accordance with Section 7 of the Council Remuneration and Reimbursement Regulations under the Towns and Local Service Districts Act, the Town of Aquaforte sets the following Reimbursement Rates.

Accommodations
 Actual Cost – (Receipt Required)
Transportation using Personal vehicle
$0.61 per kilometer
Transportation other than Personal Vehicle
Actual Cost – (Receipt Required)
Meals
Breakfast – $10.00 per day
Lunch – $12.00 per day
Dinner – $18.00 per day
Parking

Registration/Training Course Fee
Actual Cost – (Receipt Required)
Miscellaneous Expenses
Actual Cost – (Receipt Required)

All claims for reimbursement shall be submitted for payment on the Town of Aquaforte Travel & Expense Claim form.
