PAYMENT OPTIONS: Cash, cheque or E Transfers. Postdated cheques are accepted. If you would like to set up a payment plan, please contact the Town Clerk.
Note The onus is on all parties owning property/land within the Municipal Boundaries of the Town of Aquaforte to notify the Town Clerk.
EXEMPTIONS:
Poll Tax may be exempt if your income was less than the basic personal exemption for 2020. Please present your Canada Revenue Agency ‘Notice of Assessment’ to the Town Clerk and fill in the ‘Affidavit for Exemption of Taxes’ form before June 30, 2021
in order to be granted this exemption. After that date you will be considered non-exempt and full council fees will be due.
Waste Management fees are not eligible for exemption and must be paid. These fees are paid directly to Eastern Waste Management.
