Public Service Announcement
Due to a senseless act of vandalism committed at Our Lady of Fatima Park in recent weeks which resulted in damage to a chair donated by a family in memory of a loved one, the town council fears that more acts of this type will follow and/or escalate as the park progresses. Protection and security of the town’s property and assets have now become a top priority, and this type of activity cannot and will not be tolerated. Therefore, be advised that Council is having a CCTV security system installed at the site of the park and Don Graham Community Centre.
This notice is to inform the general public that anyone caught on video committing any acts of vandalism and identified will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
